Toto, stylized as TOTO, is a Japanese toilet company that began in 1917. It is best known for its Washlet toilet design. The company is based in Kitakyushu, Japan and has production facilities in nine countries. The company’s Washlet toilet is one of the most popular in the world, with over a billion units sold worldwide. Toto designs and manufactures the Washlet toilet. Toto has over two million units in use worldwide.

Toto reformed in summer 2010, resuming touring in Europe to benefit Mike Porcaro, who had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
